Noida Authority told the Supreme Court on Oct 10 that a revised layout for the 300-acre Sector 150 Sports City has been approved, with 70% of the land reserved for sports, recreation, institutional uses and open spaces. The Authority filed an affidavit saying Lotus Greens Constructions submitted the plan on Jan 2, the Authority gave in-principle approval at its 222nd board meeting on Apr 6 after a Feb 11 public notice, and formal approval was issued on May 6.

Conditional occupancy certificates have now been issued to four projects β€” Brick Rise Developers, Ace Infracity Developers, Land Kart Builders and Samridhi Infra Square β€” after their developers cleared outstanding dues, with the Authority retaining a first charge over 20% of units as security. The layout for Plot 2 was prepared by Skyline Architectural Consultant of Lucknow and vetted by the Sports Authority of India through its report dated Jun 10, 2026.

Approval does not fully unlock the site: development was halted on Jan 18, 2021 over CAG-flagged irregularities, and the Authority is still operating under court supervision. On Oct 6 the Supreme Court decided to hear the three Sports City project cases separately, with the next hearings listed for Dec 9, Dec 16 and Jan 20, leaving roughly 8,000 homebuyers still waiting for their units.
