United States State Department ne 24-25 August 2026 ko Operation Economic Outcast ke under chaar India-based companies aur teen Indian nationals par sanctions lagaye, nearly $119-120 million ke Iranian petroleum aur petrochemical transactions ko target karke.

Sadashiva Overseas ne allegedly February 2024 se June 2025 tak $69 million ka Iranian-origin petroleum products import kiye, jabki PP Softtech aur Prakrutees Infra se har ek ka approx. $25 million ka allegation hai.

India-Iran bilateral trade 2018-19 ke $17.03 billion se gir ke FY 2025-26 me $1.63 billion ho chuka hai, jo is trade corridor ki kamzori dikhatta hai.
