NDTV reports ke mutabik, epicentre 30.103 N latitude aur 79.561 E longitude par tha, jo Joshimath se roughly 50 km south mein, 13 km ki shallow depth par tha. Aisi shallow focus ki wajah se kam magnitude par bhi area bada feel hota hai.
Safdarjung ke residents ne reporters ko bataya ki hilne ke dauran furniture hilne laga tha. NCS ne event ke kareeb 17 minutes baad, raat 10:40 baje ke aas-paas X par apna confirmation post kiya, jisse readings record hone se pehle Delhi NCR ke logon ko thodi der uncertainty mein rehna pada.
